Camp Good News Staff
There are a great variety of staff positions during the week of camp, ranging in their responsibilities and hours. Each year, it takes around 40 volunteers to pull off a great Camp Good News.
Camp Good News is July 7-11, 2025! Camp starts each day at 8am with our staff huddle and ends around 5pm after the kids have been picked up.

Can’t volunteer during the week, but still want to be involved?
- Set-Up/Clean-Up Crew – We need around 15 volunteers to help the Sunday before camp, from about 2:30pm-5pm, to set-up and decorate. On Friday, at the end of camp, we need at least 20 volunteers to help clean/pack up and take the camp supplies back to storage. Please let us know if you’re interested!
- Behind the Scene Worker – It takes several months of planning and prepping to be ready for Camp. We can always use extra hands to help with decorations, prepping fliers, and other office tasks to get the job done. Contact our office if you are interested!
- Be a Sponsor
– You can help a child get to camp, by paying their way! There are often children who need a partial or full scholarship to afford Camp. The cost for one child to attend Camp Good News is $100 (includes a $25 registration fee).
